The patron deity of dwarven mothers everywhere, Qurtra is the wife of Uxamar and second in command of the dwarven pantheon of gods. She is the goddess that provides food and shelter, comfort and safety below the surface world. She makes fungi grow and fresh water appear. She taught the first dwarves to forage for food and how to cook it. She taught the dwarves the art of healing. She is the bringer of light to dark places. It is Qurtra that breathes life into every newborn and comforts those who despair.
This is a very old faith and is most prominent in Urmordia. In that dwarven nation, the Great Lamp of Urmordia is dedicated to Qurtra and tended to by Qurtran priests.
