Sakyr is the dwarven god of law. He is brusk and blunt in manner and conversation. He always seems to be in a bad mood and seldom smiles. Everything about him, from his clothing to his speech to his method of dealing with problems, is perfectly ordered and controlled. He is a master of self control and restaint.

Sakyr was an extremely influential citizen in early dwarven society. It was Sakyr that founded the dwarven social class system and lived out his life as a Symul of Mordia. He helped set up the policies of the dwarven military and greatly influenced dwarven society. Titles and honors were heaped upon his name such that, when he died, he was proclaimed a saint. The religion of Sakyr did not begin until after his death.

Sakyr is worshipped mostly in the north. In dwarven society, all Symul are Sakyran priests In other northern nations, non-dwarven priests of Sakyr tend to establish themselves in cities and towns and aid the local authorities. The form this aid takes may vary. Some join the legitimate law enforcers, others act as vigilantes. A few open small schools. In addition to upholding the law, Sakyran priests scour the underworld and battle the forces of chaos.
