Ankarus ever wanders the planet of Khoras. The road is his home. Ankarus speaks very little and when he does, his words are usually gems of wisdom. His cold grey eyes never blink and are always scanning the horizon, as if searching for something.

During his mortal life, Ankarus drifted from town to village. He never held a job for more than six months. Everything in his life was transient. He was always searching for something, although what that was is open for debate. His followrs claim that he did and still does search for a meaning to life. However, Ankarus has never found what he was looking for. Upon his death, Ankarus began searching the after lives, wandering from world to world, roaming all dimensions. From his wanderings, he eventually found a way back into the mortal world. In so doing, he achieved the status of demigod.

The religion of Ankarus has no real churches. Scattered about the world are many small shrines operated by individual priests of Ankarus. These shrines are often built into the homes of older priests who have "retired" from a life of wandering. Younger priests of Ankarus live on the road. This religion has no organized services. At the beginning of each day, a wandering Ankarus follower will pray to the horizon.
