Erylon is the essence of the hunt. He always appears as a powerfully built Bathynian and is what every hunter aspires to be. Unmatched, he is, in tracking, stalking and all skills involved with hunting. He primarily uses a bow, but adjusts his weaponry to suit the animal and the terrain. Although he hunts purely for sport, he does eat the animal, but only as he represents the eternal struggle of life in the wild.

No organized religion surrounds this deity. Most worshipers are hunters, woodsmen and some warriors. And most worship independently. Each follower of Erylon adopts a specific game animal as his favored prey. This may be any animal from a rabbit to a torgat and usually reflects the nature and style of that hunter. Occasionally, priests of Erylon, known as Stalkers, will help organize group hunts or arrange special hunts for paying customers. Stalkers often work to promote hunting in their area and to safeguard the natural habitat of hunting animals and prey animals. The worship of Erylon is very popular in the west, especially Bathynia and Normidia. The church of Erylon is on good terms with the church of Assytia.
Stalkers wear light armor and usually hunt with a long bow. They are excellent archers. Their limited magical ability grants them such powers as foretelling the weather, locating prey, reading the minds of animals, healing, stealthy movement and more.
