Gods of the Karthasians

The karthasians are unique in their
perspective of religion. They view the Universe as a naturally evolving phenomena bound by
the laws of physics and explainable science. For them, there are no magical or spiritual
forces governing their lives. Fate is mere probability. Magic is explainable by science.
Gods are merely another classification of living being.
Although the Karthasians have no true gods, they treat their
queens with as much reverence as any holy man and consider them superior beings. So, in
one sense, the queens are the equivalent of deities. The queen is both ruling lord and
spiritual leader.
