Description

Muthara is the ogre god of life and death and the struggle between the two. Muthara appears as a large ogre with black skin and white eyes. His claws are exceptionally long and two great bat like wings extend from his back.

Religion

Ogres believe that Muthara watches them every day and weighs their actions. It is also believed that Muthara challenges ogres and tests them continually by bringing battle to them. If battle is constant, then an ogre is kept strong. By constantly testing the ogrish race, Muthara claims the ill, the old, the weak and maintains their strength as a race.

When an ogre is claimed, Muthara carries the soul off into the infinite starry night to a place where the honored dead go. Few ogres die a coward, but those who do die a horrible death. According to ogrish myth, when an ogre dies without honor, Muthara carries the soul to a place of darkness and devours it.
