Skull Quest 1 - The Castle, Level 5

5/1 - Meditation Chamber

This large chamber is entirely lined with inky black stone which is smooth and polished. The walls are covered with black curtains. The floor is covered with a large black rug. The room is completely empty. One large cushion (with an impression) is in the center of the floor.

This room will radiate weak, residual magic if detection spells are used. Also, the room is enchanted such that anything imagined will appear (an illusion - like generating a hologram out of your mind). This apparitions can easily be controlled by any directed, focused thought.

5/2 - Hall of Glory

This small chamber is clean and empty. Decorative patterns are inlaid in the floor and wall. Four demonic looking statues stand in the room, one in each corner. Four doors, one in each wall, lead out. Nothing of interest here.

5/3 - Temple to Tharros

Heavy oak doors open to reveal a massive altar. The entire room is made from a large bricks made from a smooth black rock. A stone altar dominates the far end. Inscribed in the stone in red bricks is the Unholy Symbol of Tharros, God of Death and Suffering. You hear a low, deep humming sound… as if the altar were pulsating with dark energies and power. Blood flows from the mouth of a demonic skull set in the center of the altar and pours into a large stone chalice.

Priests who worship good deities will become violently ill if they  take one step into this accursed place. The blood acts as a healing potion for worshipers. The players, after a moment, will hear the leathery creak of large wings. A lesser demon is watching them. It will jump down from the shadows and attack.
