King Sebalin, the Benevolent, a very old elf and woodsman of renowned skill. He is the seventh in his line to old the ironwood throne. Sebalin is the wisest of all elves and a very much beloved king. Most elves in Ethara would lay down their life for him without hesitation. He is more than just a leader... he is a spiritual leader, a teacher and a role model to younger generations.
Sebalin is a frail, silver haired man that leans heavily on an gnarled oaken stave. He dresses in forest green robes with blue trim.
King Sebalin now delegates most of his duties to councilors and subordinates. Although he still retains full political power, he has relegated himself to a position which is little more than a figurehead. This is by his own choice.
Sebalin is old. Old beyond even elven standards. He is weary of life and the crown sits heavy on his brow. He yearns for the simplicity of youth and can often be found wandering off by himself to be alone. He will sit for hours studying the beauty of a rose or watching the purity of a raindrop. His servants believe that he is becoming senile. Nothing could be farther than the truth. Sebalin is rediscovering the wonder of life.
