The yadalla is a species of huge butterfly. It has a two foot wing span and weighs about 4 pounds. It has a brilliant pattern of orange, yellow and black stripes and swirls.
Yadalla butterflies do not pose a threat of any kind.
The yadalla is quite common in eastern half of Aggradar. Each year, all Yadalla butterflies migrate from eastern Aggradar to the southern coasts of Qeshir. They migrate to one of eleven specific locations in southern Qeshir. These spawning grounds are always the same place every year. Billions of yadalla butterflies gather to spawn.
The flesh of the creature is edible and is something of a delicacy to the primitive tribes of the Fire Isles.
