Technically seen maybe, but I think here weirdness lies in reality, not in fiction...
I mean, it's not uncommon for names to stay the same even if they change or lose their meaning. The real names September, October, November and December also "mean" st. like 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th, which only makes sense if you count march as first month - what we don't. But we still keep the names, and few people will actually find it weird.
And especially plants often have names that seem to imply some properties the plant does not sctually have, like
wolfsbane...or a property that's not used any more, like
belladonna (literally
beautyful woman, since the plant extraxt widens the pupils of the eye, which once was considered an ideal of beauty in women).
I admit, both exapmles are different from the Khorasian month names, but my point is that as far as I'm concerned, such "outdated" names add flavor rather than inconsistency...
