Rights to use Khoras material

Hi!
My situation is that I am an amateur writer. I wanted to find a fantasy world which would be rich and vivid. No need to tell you I rapidly came across Khoras. So I started to write a story on a forum (which is only visited by 5-6 friends...it really is small). I wondered if I could use the images on the website to illustrate my descriptions.

Oh, and by the way, for those who think "What? A writer who can barely write in English? What the HELL?" Well, the answer is that I am a French-speaking guy! From Canada, not France. The story is obviously in French, so you will not be able to read it, unfortunately  . (Fortunately for me, I would be ashamed to be pointed out every mistake I made concerning the setting!)

You err my friend! Making assumptions that no one on the site can read French! How DARR YE! Of course I can't but maybe one or two members can. 

Anyways, I'm in the process of finishing an "Online Writing Community" based in Khoras. You and your friends should come by and check it out sometime. I doesn't really matter to me if your English isn't that good. Just check it out and tell me what you think. http://zarcov.smfforfree.com/

Looks like a nice project. Hey, I have something that may interest some people here. It is called City of IF,  it is an online writing community as well, but they do what is called a "storygame". The basics is that the author writes a chapter which contains a decision point. The players (other forum users) suggests ideas as to what the character should do and vote. So the story progress considering those choices. You might want to create a place for games like that! Just an idea...

As for my previous question, I'd like to have an answer from David. For a better idea, here's a link to the story. You will see what I mean. I usually used links to the images on Khoras' site, though the beginning of chapter 3 contains images taken directly from the site.

Let me check with the artist privately and make sure he's ok with the use of the Vaullian picture. As for the use of the picture of the city of Vaul, that's fine. Go ahead and use that. Generally speaking, I let people use Khoras materials for their own small, creative projects and such. The only thing I ask for is a link to the Khoras web site (when possible) and credit (where appropriate). That's about it. So, feel free to use whatever pictures you need.

I always check with the artists (for the hand drawn illustrations) as a courtesy when it comes to using their stuff. I'll check with that particular artist.
