since most of us here are D&D fantasy like players i thought you all might like to know
about the FREE game called wesnoth you can play just plain maps or make campaigns
with little quest things in them...you can play alone or with others...

you can get it here: www.wesnoth.org

it has:
elves
dwarves
humans
orcs
goblins

etc..etc..

its also VERY customizable you can make your own maps and campiagns

i made a map for khoras and play it just plain(military) solo style no quests
its kinda fun...

i know this thread is old but if anyone does want a link to wesnoth i got it here it is   http://www.wesnoth.org/ its actually a really good game with diffrent creatures and factions its a turn based strategy and u have a leader and with that leader u recruit diffrent units  it has lots of RPG elements but if u really want RPG there is a option in the main menu of the game which lets u download maps scenarios campaigns more creatures and RPG scenarios once u download it  its automatcally installed so u can play RPG scenarios with ur friends online its brilliant and fully free oh and sorry for ressuracting an old thread but i just had to post
