This magnificent helm covered the entire face. It is made of a dull blue-grey metal and the face plate is forged in the likeness of a terrible monstrous face. The helm also has two great curved horns that add to the terrible visage.
Engrith, a powerful but paranoid member who lived during the Age of Sorrow, created this visor for his bodyguard, Gynfeld. This device is old and has survived for more than 2000 years. Throughout history, the device has changed hands many dozens of times, usually claimed on the battlefield from a fallen warrior. It has surfaced across the lands of Ithria over the centuries. It was last known to be in the possession of a mercenary leader, a saurian, named Athlatur operating along the south coast.
This ancient helmet is enchanted with very powerful sorcery. Its most powerful function is also its simplest. Through the eye slits of this helmet, all things are made plain and visible. The wearer can see all things plainly - invisible objects, magical auras, heat emanations and aura of living beings. The wearer can also see in absolute darkness without difficulty. And, of course, the helmet itself is almost indestructibel and provides excellent protection for the head.
Unaffected by the Drellis effect and will function normally during any stellar phase.
