This is the largest forest on the continent and
is a blend of several ecosystems and climate types. The entire nation of Cyrell dwells
within this forest. The Grand Wood sprawls across a huge swath of the realms
encompassing millions of square acres. The character of this great wood changes
from region to region. Within the confines of this endless forest are hilly
regions, gaping valleys, glittering lakes, towering mountains and rocky
badlands. There are hunters and woodsmen who spend their whole lives within a
single section of this great wood never venturing forth. Buried deep in the
Grand Wood are ancient trails, long forgotten ruins, crumbling bits of road and
other treasures unknown to the outside world.
