The Daemyr Mountains are exceptionally rugged, especially toward the center. High peaks, deep ravines and broken land make this region absolutely impassable except to the hardy mountain goats that dwell here. No roads run through the central Daemyr Mountains. Wagons, carts and horses simply can't get through. Caravans and travelers must go around. Because of this, the central Daemyr Mountains are largely unexplored. The western Daemyr Mountains are rich in copper, but sparse in other metals. The eastern edge of Daemyr Mountains contain extensive iron ore and the vaullians operate several mines on their side of the mountain. The Daemyr Mountains are home to many dangerous animals, but in particular, it is the home of the great dragon known as Eldworrath.
