Iskren is the classical coding system used throughout most of eastern Ithria including Carrikos, the Rukemian Empire, Kitar, Ormek and Mercia. This system is based loosely on the Thullic and Ranyku systems that preceded it. Like its predecessors, it uses various combinations of the same three basic building blocks: the sklar, the iman and the sath. However, in the Iskren coding system, the forms of the characters have been reduced and combined into their most streamlined form. Each character consists of exactly three elements with only a few exceptions.
